A funny thing happened at a meeting (Amy's Style vs. Sara's Style)

Posted by Sara

When Amy and I schedule a meeting together we must pad the time by at least an hour (or two if we're being realistic) because somehow after a million years of friendship, we never run out of things to talk about.   That is another reason why I am so excited about Gild & Wit.  Not only are my days now filled with design which makes me so happy, but this really is a venture of love and friendship.  And we strive to make each other better.

When I say "make each other better," I mean that in the personal and professional sense.  Amy and I really do have very different design sensibilities.  As the old song goes, she's a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock and roll.  Our styles complement each other and it force us to see things in a different way.  That's why when on the Friday after Thanksgiving we both showed up to a meeting wearing the same plaid shirt I immediately thought of this blog post.  We somehow made the same shirt look very different.

So here's our shirt (I'm pretty sure we also had this shirt in the 6th grade because the 90's are back,) and here are our ensembles.
